FormSketch FAQ's
Is FormSketch a paid add-on. What is the cost?
No, FormSketch is included in your Forms module, there is no additional cost.
Can FormSketch be used in the Management Portal and the App?
Yes, FormSketch is available in both the Management Portal and the App. You can work between different devices. So you might start your sketch in the portal, work on it out in the field, and then return home or to the office to make final adjustments.
How do I add FormSketch to one of my Forms?
You will see the new FormSketch icon in the Form Builder Tool Box. Just drag and drop it into your form wherever you want it.
Can I export my sketch out of FormSketch?
Yes, your sketch will automatically be included in your Form. Sketches can also be individually exported as PNG, SVG or even JSON files.
What is the difference between Pages and Versions?
Let’s say for example you are working in a five story building. Your Sketch can have a different Page for each story of the building to keep each Sketch clear and simple, so your Building Sketch would have 5 pages.
Let’s say you visit the Property every 3 months to complete work. Each time you visit, you can copy and create a new Version of your Sketch (while retaining the previous versions). All 5 pages of your Sketch will be cloned so you can add new information to the new version of each Page without starting again and without affecting your previous Versions. This builds up a visual history of all work done with each version and saves so much time!
Is the Floor Planner tool part of FormSketch?
Yes, FloorPlanner is part of FormSketch. When you select the FloorPlanner icon from the bottom menu, you will access all of the FloorPlanner options. You can find out more about FloorPlanner here.
